22 Years of Project Development

Lamplighter Energy, Inc. traces its two decades of experience in realizing renewable energy and clean water assets from an initial repower of wind master wind turbines in the western US to now over 2,400 MW of clean renewable power plants, 37 MGD wastewater facilities, 19 passive desalination facilities and clean gas plants installed globally.

Incubating Systems

With an approach to de-risking systems, Lamplighter, GSY, and CEF teams expanded from wind to include water desalination, wastewater processing, thermal power systems, and small hydroelectric. In 2008 our first solar PV greenhouse was started has led to now one of our largest growing project focus areas of the company.

Expansion Into Overseas Markets

2005 saw expansion into Eastern Europe with the award of a development contract with Geni Resources of Romania. Our team’s success in quickly entitling and realizing that project led to additional requests for single turbine installations to complement an environmental housing and resort development. Project development continued in Romania, Bulgaria, and the Balkans through the 2008 financial crisis until our final exit to a public company in 2011. With the rapid decline in solar costs from our initial installations, we began expanding to Asia in 2013.

Green Hydrogen

Our overnight success with H2 grew out of 12 years of investments. Beginning in 2011 under the guidance of Breakthrough Technologies Institute we installed our first Wind 2 Gas system in the US and slowly built our experience while expanding our gas delivery network and project development pipeline for a combined target of now over 8,600 MT a day of green hydrogen we are realizing through 2030.
