Village Microgrid Underwriting Guidelines Approved

Built on our successful track record of realizing off grid solar, hydrogen and ESS systems, Lamplighter Energy has finalized an internal assessment of risk models addressing communities without credit and connections to electrical power grids. Following a final review at the quarterly meeting, Lamplighters Board of Directors supported by independent risk analyst Thein Capital Analytics approved the specifics of underwriting criteria to apply to future projects and growth into a fundraising model.
The projects include assets that serve communities previously without electricity services including: 24/7 domestic and agricultural electrical supply, domestic gas (H2) for cooking and hot water, clean water supply and produce refrigeration. Power for the communities is designed to provide both long term low pricing while meeting the needs of load growth and industrial demand power.
"This approval is not just validation of our due diligence process but a critical step forward in being able to grow this sector. As 1.2 Billion people continue to not be served with electricity and the resulting economic opportunity that brings, we need to find ways to rapidly resolve both project development and liquidity. Our hope is to bring investors confidence to realize a revolving fund that will bring the necessary capital to this space." R. Rose member of the board of directiors
